Makatizens helping Makatizens. This is one of the most inspiring things we’ve seen during the enhanced community quarantine. Despite the challenges our nation is experiencing, we’ve seen the spirit of Bayanihan in our community which proves that together, we can rise above all the struggles. Together, we can #MakeItBetter.
From fighting COVID-19 head-on at hospitals to giving free check-ups to other frontliners, our health workers are one of today’s biggest heroes. Their invaluable service is key in helping the nation defeat the virus.

One of the hardest-hit businesses by the pandemic is the fitness industry, with many gyms pausing operations nationwide. Despite this, plenty of gyms and fitness studios like Anytime Fitness Paseo Center, Yoga Hive, Yoga Plus, Steps Dance Studio, Galaw.Co, and Electric Studio have innovated to offer solutions to reach out to their clients and stayed true to their mission of helping people through their fitness journey.

We know how important it is to have enough food supply in this enhanced community quarantine. Our local restaurants have been working non-stop to provide take-out and delivery service to Makatizens. On top of their unwavering service, some restaurants have also donated food to our frontliners and fellow Makatizens in need.

Sanitation, Security and Housekeeping Team
The sanitation team has been consistent in disinfecting public areas of the Makati Central Business District and other parts of the city. At the same time, the security team has been strictly implementing social distancing guidelines for the safety of the Makatizens. These awesome people have been serving us since day one to ensure our health and safety.

Despite the challenges, there is one thing that will remain constant from all these struggles – it is that Makatizens are strong and will help uplift each other in times of need. With everyone doing their best to reach out and offer everything they can to ease the burden for those in need, we know that we can get through this together. Indeed, we can all #MakeItBetter by helping each other.
